What does my registration fee cover?
Team uniform (shirt, shorts, socks)
Player insurance
Field equipment for games (nets, field paint, Port-a-Potty rental, team balls, field use fees, etc.)
Other league incidental expenses (volunteer training, mailing & office supply expenses, etc.)
What's the diffeence between Fall and Spring seasons?
Teams are completely reformed for each season. Spring teams are typically co-ed due to smaller numbers of registered players. Fall teams may be coed for the younger (U5/U6) and older (U14) age divisions if numbers do not permit for male/female teams. Each season consists of 8 games (8 weeks of games). Our Fall season usually starts the weekend after Labor Day; the spring season usually starts in late March.
When and where are practices?
Practices typically start 2 weeks before the first game (10 weeks of practice). Practices are held once a week on a weekday for all divisions except U5/U6. The coach of each team decides when and where the practices will be held. U5/U6 players practice together on Saturday mornings before their games. Typical practice locations are:
Mountain View Elementary (between Edgewood & Moriarty, on Route 66)
Edgewood Elementary (north of I40, on Dinkle Rd)
Los Vecinos Community Center (just west of Tijeras stoplight on Route 66)
Roosevelt Middle School (South of Los Vecinos CC)
Vista Grande Community Center (off La Madera Rd, just off of N.14, north of Frost)
San Antonito Elementary (off La Madera Rd, just off of N.14, north of Frost)
When and where are games?
Games are on Saturdays. Game locations vary from season to season, but are usually at one or more of the following locations (depending on conditions):
Mountain View Elementary (between Edgewood & Moriarty, on Route 66)
Edgewood Elementary (north of I40, on Dinkle Rd)
Los Vecinos Community Center (just west of Tijeras stoplight on Route 66)
